Music Ministry
The First Baptist Church Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. for practices. These sessions normally last about 1 hour, unless there are special circumstances.
The Choir routinely sings at the 9:00 a.m. Traditional Service each Sunday. Several specials are included in our yearly services including the Christmas Cantata, Christmas Eve Service, Maundy Thursday Service and Easter Service. The specials do require additional practice time and selected soloists. We are planning on having other church choirs join us for special cantatas. The Choir is dismissed after presenting the morning anthem to join their families in the Congregation to praise our Lord.
The First Baptist Church is blessed to have a wonderful choir, with the goal to help reach people through our Music Ministry. |
