Worship Leader
Cindy “Buckner” Powell grew up in rural Oklahoma and attended South Coffeyville and Lenapah Schools then later graduated from Ottawa University in 1981 with a B.A. in education. She and her husband Warren were married in 1982 and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. She is a children’s librarian at the Coffeyville Public Library where she has been employed since 1986. In addition to being our Worship leader, Cindy also does the overhead preparation for our morning services, sings in the adult choir, teaches an adult Sunday school class and has a music and comedy ministry. |
